Reviews: Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum (Terracotta Army) + The Song of Everlasting Sorrow grand performance|Half-day tour

The Terracotta Army was an amazing sight, just as I had expected. The Song of Everlasting Sorrow was a spectacular performance with many sights of immense scale. I highly recommend it to travelers visiting Xi'an. Our local guide, Summer, was very professional and friendly, and her detailed explanations made it very informative, allowing us to easily understand the discovery process and characteristics of the Terracotta Army.

I was delighted that this tour was led by our expert guide, Brother Zhang Hu. He was like a walking history book, providing detailed explanations of every historical site, building, and tree we visited. Traveling shouldn't just be a superficial experience; understanding the historical background and immersing oneself in the culture is far more important. Brother Zhang was incredibly attentive, resolving any issues quickly and effectively, and showing great care for each member of the group. I was extremely satisfied with this trip.
Reviews: Xi'an Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Palace with english guide 1-day tour,Optional: The Song of Everlasting Sorrow or The Great Tang Empress

Picked up from our hotel near Bell Tower at 7:50am, reached the museum by 9:10am. Our guide, Ruby, was fantastic and shared great historical insights that made the trip worthwhile. Post-Qingming crowds were manageable. You may opt for a Virtual XR experience (CNY136). While it was relatively fun, I personally would've preferred to stay longer in the main Terracotta Warriors pits to explore. There was a temporary museum open during my visit, but we didn't have sufficient time. Lunch was mediocre but filling, and spice levels had been adjusted to suit foreigners. After, we visited Huaqing Palace; Ruby’s storytelling here was a highlight! The tour ended at 3:30PM. I waited for the 7:40 PM Song of Everlasting Sorrow show. The 4-hour gap was a bit long with little to do nearby, but the show was stunning  with minimal dialogue and easy to follow. Highly recommend middle seats! Caught the 1-hour show and took the shared bus back to Bell Tower by 10PM.
