Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended. Our guide, Liu Zhihong, was also very attentive, both days in a row. The itinerary was well-planned. Look for the yellow guide flag!

Each stop is rushed, with about 40 minutes to get to the shrine, but this includes walking time (which might only be 10-15 minutes). The actual time for proper sightseeing and photography is very short. The tour guide walks quickly after getting off the bus. It's recommended to clearly explain beforehand how long it will take to walk to each attraction, how much time is allowed for photos, and whether short stops are possible to introduce scenic spots along the way. Conclusions: 1. These attractions are difficult to reach; having a private car is indeed convenient, and the scenery is fantastic. 2. Don't take photos immediately after getting off the bus; follow the tour guide. Free time will be given later. 3. If you enjoy taking photos, be quick and efficient, as time is limited. 4. But I would still recommend it…because these places are truly wonderful! 👍

It was a great day trip. The tour leader was a very nice, friendly, responsible, and funny guy. Many thanks to him for taking some photos for me and for introducing souvenirs. The scenery was beautiful, and the best part was that Mount Aso was open, allowing us to see the volcano up close.

Before departure, I booked the tour online. The itinerary description stated that the boat ride at Takachiho Gorge "could not be booked in advance," but upon arrival, the tour guide clearly explained that prior online booking was required to have a chance to ride the boat. Missing out on this attraction by taking a small boat significantly diminished the experience. Please provide accurate information to us consumers in the summary. Thank you. Also, a huge shout-out to the tour guide! Extremely professional, experienced, attentive to everyone, and concerned about the safety of the group members.
