Reviews: 1-day tour of Christ the Redeemer + Sugarloaf Mountain + Selarón Steps + Sambadrome in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Guest User2025-10-12
The tour guide was incredibly nice, and lunch was quite good – a barbecue buffet. The itinerary was very reasonable; mine was basically a private tour with only four people! Of course, the weather was terrible – low season has its reasons. We couldn't see anything at the Christ the Redeemer statue, and the Cerón Steps were a very boring attraction. As for the churches, it felt like only Sugarloaf Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue were worth visiting; the rest was pretty much pointless.

Our tour guide, Peter, was friendly and engaging, and the tour was very well organized. The schedule was perfectly timed, giving us plenty of time to visit both attractions, take photos, and enjoy the views without feeling rushed.
