A privileged small-group tour of the basilica's history with our guide Barbara, who speaks perfect English. We ascend via stairs and elevators to the dome (the second dome, to be precise) of the basilica for a breathtaking 360-degree view—an incredible experience! After returning to the entrance, we walk past the magnificent paintings and precious relics. We then enjoy an organ, flute, and vocal concert lasting about an hour, right in front of the performers. A truly magical moment!★

Chris is an excellent guide. He brought the history of his country to life for us. Gave us a most detailed tour of the basilica that we felt we had not missed a thing. Dancing and singing for us was most unusual but we all enjoyed it. Chris is a proud Hungarian and it shines through when he is guiding, singing and dancing. We could not recommend Chris and this tour highly enough.★

The information the guide provided about Hungarian wine history and the specific details of the wine was excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable guide. The food offering was tasty but lighter than we expected. In regards to value, my wife and I were the only two in the group so there is added value from a more direct experience. It would not have had the same value. Had more people signed up and this had been a larger group, I would have scored this lower for value. As a one on one experience, the value was reasonable.★

Everything went very well, it was a very pleasant and magnificent experience, especially at night! We had seats on the roof, my partner fractured his ankle the day before on the way there, and they readily agreed to reschedule it for the next day. I highly recommend it.★
