Reviews: Northern Armenia from Tbilisi: UNESCO Monasteries & Soviet MiG Jet Day Tour

The tour guide service was excellent 👍, providing interesting introductions to the history, culture, and customs along the way. The itinerary was well-planned, and the guide explained the border crossing precautions in detail, making our crossing very smooth with minimal waiting time – a fantastic experience! Bottled water was provided during the tour, and we were treated to Armenian specialty cakes. The entire trip was very enjoyable, including visits to three ancient Armenian monasteries, a MiG-21 fighter jet, and other attractions included in the itinerary. On the return trip, the guide thoughtfully took us back to our hotel in Tbilisi. Thank you again for his warm service! Thank you Ctrip for providing this tour package: the price was great, the itinerary was excellent, the product description was clear, and the local tour operator's service was superb!

Reviews: From Tbilisi: Armenia Day Trip with Monasteries & Museum

Interesting excursion guided by guide Mr. T., who is very knowledgeable and shares a lot along the way and at the locations! This trip does last 10 hours instead of 8, so you'll be back at 8 pm instead of 6 pm... Also, you shouldn't get carsick... because in Georgia they have a VERY different driving style than we are used to in the Netherlands...

Reviews: Yerevan to Tbilisi Tour with Sanahin, Haghpat and Akhtala

Marina is the best guide I’ve ever met in Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaidzhan. It was the best tour I had in Armenia. Very relax, lots of information not only main visiting areas but also she explained each villages and town along the way. Super delicious lunch at the cozy local family place. The best BBQ and salad I ever had in these three countries. Also, the driver (sorry I don’t know about the spelling of his name) was very helpful. Highly recommend!!

I had an amazing experience on the Armenia One Day Tour with lunch in a local family home. The tour was well-organized, starting promptly at 8:30 AM with a small group of friendly travelers. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and shared fascinating stories about each site we visited, from ancient monasteries to breathtaking viewpoints. The highlight of the day was definitely the lunch. Being welcomed into a local family’s home and enjoying traditional Armenian food was such a warm and unique experience. The food was delicious and homemade, and the family’s hospitality made me feel like a true guest rather than a tourist. Everything from transportation to timing was smooth and well thought out. The group size was just right, making the whole day feel more personal and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the balance between guided explanations and free time to explore or take photos. This tour is perfect for anyone who wants a deep cultural experience in a short amount of time.
