Fascinating to see other parts of Taiwan not too far from Taipei and learn some history. See incredible natural sights and just a great half day trip. Highly recommend. Amy was/is fantastic, enthusiastic, happy and so knowledgeable (in many languages)!

It was wonderful. Even though it was a last-minute booking, they were very accommodating and I felt at ease communicating with them via LINE. Mr. Wang has an amazing personality and constantly made various efforts to ensure we had a great time. His stories about Jiufen and Spirited Away were truly enjoyable, and my middle school-aged son loved them too. Thank you so much for making sure the whole family had a good time and for taking so many photos. His personality was fantastic. I would definitely like to ask Mr. Wang to guide us again when we visit again.

The whole trip was fantastic! Our tour leader, Michael, was incredibly friendly and even ordered us some super delicious peanut ice cream rolls at Shifen Old Street. I highly recommend this day trip! 🙌🙌🙌

It was great to be able to quickly visit Jiufen, and the timing was just right! Our guide, Chen, was friendly and taught us a lot. There was a huge line at A-Mei Tea House for dinner, but we were able to decide whether to go on the bus on the way there and get in without a prior reservation, so I'm glad we chose this tour.

Choosing a private car for our Taipei day trip was definitely the right decision! A special thank you to our driver, Mr. Shen; the entire experience was fantastic! First of all, the car was in excellent condition, clean and comfortable inside, and Mr. Shen drove very smoothly. Our original plan was to visit Yehliu Geopark, Shifen Station to release sky lanterns, Shifen Waterfall, and Jiufen Old Street, but we changed our plans at the last minute, replacing Jiufen with Cat Village. The biggest advantage of hiring a private car is the freedom; you can adjust the itinerary according to your preferences, without having to follow a fixed route. Mr. Shen was incredibly kind and provided exceptional service. He proactively opened the car door for us when we got in and out, and at each attraction, he explained the general route, the most convenient entry point, the location of the restrooms, and any other important information. He also tried his best to take us directly to the entrance of each attraction, saving us a lot of walking time. He never rushed us during the tour. When we were almost finished, we simply told Mr. Shen we were leaving and sent him our location, and he would drive to the closest and most convenient spot to the exit, even turning on the air conditioning beforehand. Taiwan's weather is quite hot, so being able to immediately relax in a cool car after visiting attractions was incredibly comfortable. When releasing sky lanterns in Shifen, Mr. Shen even arranged for us to sit in an air-conditioned indoor spot, so we didn't have to stand in the sun all day. He also helped take photos and videos while releasing the lanterns and proactively asked if we needed help carrying our bags, allowing us to easily take pictures and enjoy the experience. Furthermore, Mr. Shen's time management was excellent. We arrived at each stop slightly earlier than the usual bus tour groups. Following his advice allowed us to avoid large crowds of tourists, and the tour groups only started arriving when we were almost finished, making our sightseeing and photo opportunities very comfortable. I initially thought visiting so many attractions in one day would be tiring, but it wasn't at all. The itinerary wasn't rushed, and the time was very flexible. Compared to bus tours, hiring a car was so much easier. Buses usually only stop at designated parking lots, and you have to walk a bit after getting off to reach the attractions. With a car, you can often be dropped off near the entrance of the attraction, and he can pick you up from the nearest location after you're done, saving you a lot of energy. Along the way, Mr. Chen explained local conditions and precautions to us, and recommended inexpensive and delicious local specialties. What was particularly interesting was his advice to not eat too much of anything, just sample a little, so we could try more different foods along the way 😂. He never pressured us to buy anything or tried to sell us anything, making us feel very comfortable. In short, the entire day trip, from Yehliu, Shifen Station Sky Lantern, Shifen Waterfall to Cat Village, went very smoothly. We could adjust our itinerary freely, without rushing or getting tired. The car was comfortable, and the driver was attentive and professional. Many of the service details were small, but together they greatly enhanced the travel experience. I highly recommend Mr. Chen! If you want to visit multiple attractions in one day but don't want to rush through a tour group, I highly recommend hiring a car. Although it's a bit more expensive than a tour group, the experience is on a completely different level. This trip was definitely worth it!
