Reviews: Cairns Quicksilver Great Barrier Reef cruise [Agincourt Reef/snorkeling boat lunch/optional activities]

This trip was absolutely perfect! The Silver Shuttle reached the most beautiful outer reef of the Great Barrier Reef, and I was immediately stunned by the gradient of blue and green coral reefs—it was breathtaking! The 10-minute helicopter ride was incredibly worthwhile and highly recommended! The semi-submarine tour is also highly recommended; the clear underwater world, with its many corals and fish, was truly awe-inspiring. The buffet included in the cruise ticket was delicious, and my friends who went snorkeling also said it was a lot of fun. Thanks to William from Moker Travel for his patient answers and help; we easily found the shuttle to the port at the designated waiting area. It was a perfect day, highly recommended!

Reviews: Silversonic 3 Outer Barrier Reef Sites in 1 Day from Port Douglas
Guest User2026-10-12
After booking, we were worried for a while. We were worried for nothing! The day before the dive, we went to the travel agency, found our reservation, and were told where and when to show up. My English was a challenge, especially when the pre-dive briefing is in English and you don't understand everything, but my daughter and husband helped; they know better. Our divemaster was a top-notch professional. Everything went smoothly, we weren't swept away by the current, and the divemaster was very attentive to our group (five people). After three dives near the outer reefs, we filled out our dive logs in great detail, only then did we get the divemaster's stamp. After the dive, she told us and showed us in an encyclopedia about every fish we saw. The diving was amazing, but the reef is truly dying, grayish due to the warming.

Reviews: Scenic helicopter tour over the Great Barrier Reef and rainforest in Cairns, Australia - minimum 2 people required
Guest User2026-07-23
I thought it was a great experience, but it's a bit of a shame that you might not see dolphins and whales. This time, because I was the only one there, we had to form a group; otherwise, I strongly suggest asking beforehand. In the end, it was best to have no more than three people on a single trip. I felt 30 minutes was enough? (This is just my personal opinion; I haven't participated in other tours).

Reviews: Calypso Outer Great Barrier Reef Cruise from Port Douglas
Guest User2024-06-21
We had THE BEST DAY on our Family Calypso Reef Snorkelling Cruise (from Port Douglas). The crew onboard Calypso Blue on Thursday 20/6/2024 were amazing, so professional and so friendly. They made us feel very welcomed and put those that were nervous at ease, re-assuring everyone that they are there to look after us. Food and snacks were nice and simple. We chose to go with Calypso as it came highly recommended on the web (through reviews) plus a big draw card for us was that they only took a small group of people on board the tour at anyone time. It was a whole day cruise, where we stopped at 3 different locations on the Great Barrier Reef to snorkel. It took about an hour to get to the reef. Each different stop on the reef was about an hour. It was so beautiful and so special for us as a family to finally experience the Great Barrier Reef. There were so many beautiful corals, so many colourful fish and in all shapes and sizes. The ocean was so clear too. The staff on Calypso Blue were very knowledgeable and educated us on the reef and how we can do our part to help look after it. We had the BEST DAY and will remember it for a long, long time. A big thank you to the crew on Calypso Blue for making it happen.
