While in Xi’an, my partner and I wanted to see the Terracotta Army but from our research understood there is minimal English explanations and opted to book a group Tour. This particular tour stood out on Trip.com for its excellent reviews and being affordable. Once booked I was immediately contacted by the tour company giving very clear instructions on where to meet and how to get there, and informing us who our guide would be. We arrived a met our guide Louis who was very approachable, friendly yet professional and extremely knowledgeable. His English was excellent and the ear pieces he provided for the tour were top quality. There were 6 of us in total, but he hosts up to 8 on a tour, still being much smaller than most other tours. He gave us excellent photo opportunities, took group pictures, answered all our questions relating to the Army and wider Xi’an and Chinese history. This was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it to get the best out of your day.★

Would highly recommend this for solo travelers! The bus rides and ropeways are all taken care of, making everything way less stressful. The guide was Zem and he was super helpful in making sure everyone had all the right information and knew the route. And the views were spectacular! I knew they’d be beautiful but I was really blown away. If you’re in Xi’an this really is a must.★

I was lucky to see Qi Zai during my trip to Qinling. Its special brown‑white fur really surprised me. I watched it lie there slowly eating fresh bamboo. It looked relaxed and totally enjoyed its time. I will keep this wonderful sight in my memory.★
