It was an unforgettable adventure with guide Mark! We formed a very friendly, fun group of travelers. I'll never forget the jokes about "2 meters," "Nemo," and "everyone's lost." 🤣 It was truly amazing! Time flew by. The pandas were incredibly cute—we managed to see almost all of them, and the weather was perfect. The Buddha statue is impressive—it's definitely a must-see. Lunch at an authentic restaurant was amazing! Our guide explained each location in detail, explaining all the special features, and answered all our questions. It was a truly amazing trip—I definitely recommend it to everyone! ❤️

Everything went great. Our guide spoke excellent English, and we saw all the pandas. The bus was comfortable. But photographing the pandas requires a good amount of noise.

This trip to the Panda Base was a truly wonderful experience, and I'm so grateful to our guide, Shanshan, and driver, Duojie! Before the trip, Shanshan proactively and meticulously coordinated with us, confirming the meeting time and travel precautions. I also mentioned to her beforehand that our biggest wish for the trip was to see Hua Hua, even though Hua Hua wasn't on the regular itinerary, but she remembered it perfectly. Driver Duojie also patiently communicated with us about the departure time and meeting point. Their excellent pre-trip coordination made our whole family feel very reassured and at ease before the trip. Driver Duojie drove smoothly and steadily, taking care of our family of five adults and one child, making the ride very comfortable. Guide Shanshan was professional and patient, providing engaging explanations and demonstrating a deep familiarity with the Panda Base's layout. To help us achieve our goal of seeing Hua Hua, she specially planned the optimal route and made sure we got to the viewing points quickly. In the end, we not only saw the Hua Hua we had been longing to see, but also the adorable red pandas—we basically saw all the animals we wanted to see on this trip! The tour was well-planned, catering to the physical needs of both the elderly and children, with a well-balanced pace that ensured a comfortable and fulfilling experience. The tour guide and driver worked seamlessly together, anticipating our extra requests and exceeding our expectations, creating unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

This was not only a cooking class, but also a deep dive into Chinese, and more so, Sichuan culture, and cuisine. Jerry, our guide, was the most exquisite, professional, funny, and easygoing person, on a professional, and human level. He explained everything in detail, about the culture, cuisine, spices, teas, and more. He wand far and beyond. I cannot recommend this workshop enough. I’m a cook, and I mostly cook Asian cuisine, and this class gave me even more insights into the culture, and various preparations. Thank you Jerry for answering my (many) questions, and for making this day memorable. The highlight of my trip!

Reviews: Chengdu Calligraphy & Chinese Painting Class

The time at the painting class was wonderful. We first received some jasmine tea and also organic mandarins. After some nice chatter and the lovely tea we went to paint with Mrs. Wang. First she showed us how to hold the brush and how to make the basic strokes. After that we worked on the painting. It is possible to choose from four different paintings. We went for the hydrangea. When we struggled, we got help from the teacher. The communication worked very well. Mrs Wang speaks English and there was additional support from Cheryl, who translated. The pictures will be a great memory of a lovely time. I can only recommend this course, it is a great introduction into traditional Chinese art.
