The mountain is sensational! I've never been on a cable car so high with such a view! It's totally worth it! If it's cloudy, I recommend going up the west side (to visit the peak) and down the west side as well. If it's cold, windy, and cloudy, it's not worth venturing to the other peaks; it's too physically demanding. If it's sunny or you still want to walk around the mountain: the suggestion is to go up the west side and down the north side. There are a lot of stairs, but I believe it's worth it on a sunny day. The tour is well organized. But go with a translator because the guide only speaks Chinese.

Reservation process was super easy through text exchanges via WeChat, and conversation with Yueyue has been delightful and convenient through the chat platform and Trip.com. Payment through Trip.com was hassle-free. Our driver Kang Gou-Li and guide Vicky were both very punctual, diligent, down-to-earth and knowledgeable. Particularly, Vicky has been awesome with her lively conversation and wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm about the Pandas plus the history of Xi’an. I recommend Vicky as a tour guide to anyone wishing to visit Xi’an. Our experience was awesome with this trip.

Would highly recommend this for solo travelers! The bus rides and ropeways are all taken care of, making everything way less stressful. The guide was Zem and he was super helpful in making sure everyone had all the right information and knew the route. And the views were spectacular! I knew they’d be beautiful but I was really blown away. If you’re in Xi’an this really is a must.
