Reviews: From Bucharest: Dracula Castle, Peles and Brașov Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-29
I’ve dreamt of visting Bran Castle since I was a child so it’s been amazing for me! I enjoyed Peles much more than I expected, it’s an amazing place. I did think this would be a “once in a lifetime” visit to Romania but having visited Brasov briefly I want to return! (Unsure why some passengers seemed surprised that castle entry wasn’t included?! Even though it clearly states they aren’t… Would’ve been the bargain of a lifetime if so!) Absolutely amazing experience, can’t fault it at all and as a solo traveller I felt very confident in the service and clarity of instructions. Recommend 110%!

Reviews: Bucharest: Dracula’s Castle and Peles Castle Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-29
Otillia and Florian were fantastic. Easy pickup right in the city center. She explained the stops we would be taking and timings so we could prepare food, snacks etc. We then travelled to the beautiful Peles castle. You can buy tickets through Get your guide, or by what's app before the trip. There are some ticket machines at the castle but it was sold out on the day. On the way to Peles, Otillia explained the history of Romania from ancient times to the modern day. We learned about the Royal family, the scars of Communism and the modern Romania. We then went to the lovely town of Braşov for an hour lunch break. We then got on the bus to Bran Castle. Otillia explained all about Medieval Romania/Transylvania, Vlad Dracul (the impailer) and his war with the Turkish Ottomans. Bran was decorated for halloween and so was the castle. If you enjoy Halloween and the dracula films you will love it but for me it ruined the real medieval history which makes it special.

Reviews: Bucharest: Vampire castle / Peleș Castle / Brasov 1-day tour [Solo available]

Fantastic! Although I've visited many castles, this one is decorated like a palace, magnificent and breathtaking. It's absolutely the most luxurious castle, on par with Neuschwanstein Castle. The local travel agency has its own tour bus, and the tour guide was incredibly professional, explaining everything from beginning to end. They were also very responsible towards each tourist. A big thumbs up! Overall, it was superb, with excellent service, great value for money, and a fantastic experience.
