Reviews: Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Kifune Shrine + Sanzen-in (Osaka/Kyoto Departure | Optional Hotel Pickup | Small Group with Sagano Romantic Train / Private Charter Available)
Guest User2026-10-08
This Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Kifune Shrine + Sanzen-in was a fantastic experience overall! Special thanks to our driver, Li Jie. He was incredibly friendly, communicated well, and provided clear explanations along the way. Within the limited time, he arranged the entire itinerary perfectly, managing the time flawlessly, allowing us to visit several of Kyoto's most worthwhile attractions in one day. However, I must remind everyone that this tour is more suitable for travelers with some self-reliance. Because you're not with a guide the entire time, you'll need to figure out your own way, keep track of time, and return on time for each meeting. As long as you manage your time well and adhere to the meeting times, the whole trip can be very relaxed. I personally really liked this approach—someone arranges transportation and the general direction, and once you arrive at the attractions, you have your own time to explore freely. If it's your first time in Kyoto and you want to visit Arashiyama, Kifune Shrine, and Sanzen-in all at once, I would recommend this Day Tour. Especially driver Li Jie, he was a huge plus! 👍🇯🇵

Reviews: 1-day tour to Arashiyama & Katsuo-ji in Kyoto, Japan with Chinese-speaking guide|Trending Scenic Spots
Guest User2026-10-10
On the plus side, I can mention the nice, cool bus and fast transfer, along with helpful tips on the spot. The guide didn't speak Russian and only a little English. He mostly spoke Chinese. But overall, he was a pretty nice guy.

Reviews: [Guaranteed group] Kyoto Arashiyama + Fushimi Inari Taisha + Nara Park 1-day tour
Guest User2026-07-14
This day tour to Kyoto, Arashiyama, and Nara was well-planned, with ample time at each attraction. The children were thrilled feeding the deer. Arashiyama has many small shops and restaurants, and the Rilakkuma-themed restaurant had a long queue. Fushimi Inari Shrine and its Thousand Torii Gates are must-sees. The tour guide spoke fluent Mandarin and English, and his explanations were clear, interesting, and patient. The only downside was that he didn't contact me the night before departure. The meeting point matched the receipt and was easy to find.

Reviews: Check off Osaka & Kyoto attractions | Katsuo-ji daruma + scenic Arashiyama in Kyoto + pilgrimage to Kinkaku-ji

A little fast paced but it hits the mark . If you get Charlie; you will get an entertaining history lesson in the bus. He is rather jovial. And is genuinely concerned about the well being of everyone .
