Anyone who is a ** person will have heard of Hida Takayama and Shirakawago Gassho House. The itinerary has always been on my travel list. Maybe just bought a flight to Japan and booked a hotel, booked this ten thousand days round on trip.com this day trip to Takayama, Shirakawa with Hida beef lunch, plus all the deals, it was even free. Thank you trip.com. I went to play specifically to find the day of the Takayama Autumn Festival, although the time is tight (the Takayama trip is an hour and a half, more than half an hour less than other groups), I could not see the parade, but I finally felt the atmosphere of the festival. The itinerary is quick to visit Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine (Autumn Festival Main Shrine), Miyagawa Asahi, Mimachisuji, Takayama Jinya, and Shirakawago Observation Deck, but there are some quick trips. Next time, I must stay one night each in Takayama and Shirakawa-go. I must have enough time to relax.★

The view is amazing! Worth the price! It’s summer yet the view is so good. I wanna come back in winter or spring. I also want to commend our driver. He’s so nice and drives smoothly, you wont feel he’s stepping on the brakes. 100% professional driver, I am amazed! The tour guide is nice as well. He took care of us during our trip. It was a fantastic experience. There were only four of us in the car, so it felt like a private charter. It was so comfortable that we could just sleep in the car. Upon arrival, the Chinese-speaking driver gave us a simple explanation of the location and time, and communication was no problem at all. It was a comfortable and pleasant day, and I highly recommend this kind of pseudo-private charter trip!★

A great experience! The tour leader was very attentive and responsible, providing one-on-one explanations of the key points of the tour on the bus. They didn't interfere with our free time. We only spent two hours at each attraction, which wasn't enough for a deep experience, but it was still nice to stroll around and explore.★

The scenery in Shirakawa-go is truly beautiful; the actual view is even more stunning than the photos, definitely worth a visit! The entire itinerary was well-planned, with just the right pace—not too rushed, yet allowing ample time for sightseeing and photography.
Special thanks to our tour guide, Liu Mei, who was incredibly enthusiastic and professional throughout the trip. She not only provided detailed explanations of Shirakawa-go and its local customs and culture but also reminded us of various travel precautions. She was also very attentive to everyone during the tour, even proactively helping us take beautiful photos! Her patient communication and attentive service made the entire trip relaxing and enjoyable.
The scenery was beautiful, the itinerary was well-planned, and the tour guide was very reliable—it was a wonderful trip to Shirakawa-go, highly recommended!★

Our tour guide, Kaku, was incredibly skilled and professional on our trip to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go! He switched between Chinese, English, and Japanese to serve the different groups of tourists throughout the entire trip, which was truly admirable. He also enthusiastically recommended many must-see attractions and highlights along the way. Although it rained the whole time, the overall experience was fantastic and very enjoyable!
