I highly recommend this Cangshan Gantong Cableway + Erhai Lake Cruise day trip! The itinerary is perfectly paced, neither rushed nor tiring. The Gantong Cableway offers breathtaking views; the cabin slowly ascends, weaving through clouds and forests, overlooking Erhai Lake and the Dali Basin. A stroll along the Jade Belt Road is incredibly relaxing. In the afternoon, enjoy the Erhai Lake cruise, feeling the gentle sea breeze. Chartering a car was much more comfortable. The customer service helped me plan the itinerary and arrange the driver. I didn't have to worry about anything; I just had to wait for the driver to contact me before departure. He would also arrive early to wait for me. When it was time, I could just go downstairs and leave. There was no unpleasant smell in the car, and the minivan was comfortable to sit in.

We loved it! We paid a little extra for seats on the upper deck, with drinks, snacks, and fruit included. And we thoroughly enjoyed admiring the city at night from the water. We set sail at 7:40 PM and saw the city light up at 8:00 AM. And at 8:30 PM, the drone show started, and it was absolutely beautiful to watch from the water!
