Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park
Guest User2026-09-23
The entire itinerary was well-planned, with each segment lasting about an hour, making it very comfortable. The vehicle was in good condition, and the driver/guide were excellent service personnel—polite, courteous, and of high quality. Even at the end of the tour, they never asked for a positive review. Todai-ji Temple in Nara was truly breathtaking; its all-wood structure, unpainted, exudes a strong sense of historical gravitas and is well worth a visit. Fushimi Inari Shrine was just average. Time was a bit tight at the final attractions, such as Gion, but given it was a day trip, it's impossible to see everything. It would have been perfect if the driver/guide had provided brief introductions to each attraction beforehand.

Reviews: Kyoto's ancient charm: A day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nara to feed the deer, with optional small group tours including hotel pick-up and drop-off.

I was lucky to meet veteran guide Oh Seok-bong. Throughout the trip, he kindly and entertainingly explained the cultural differences between Korea and Japan and recommended great restaurants and products. Thanks to his extensive knowledge of the tourist sites and his easy-to-understand commentary, it was a meaningful one-day tour. I highly recommend him.

Reviews: A day trip of Culture Experience to Kyoto's ancient architecture, Nara Park with adorable deer, and Fushimi Inari Shrine.
Guest User2026-10-10
I booked this tour because I wanted to visit Kyoto for a day while staying in Osaka! I decided to go on a tour because I figured going on my own would require researching subways and buses, and I'd end up wasting a lot of time traveling. Since it was a private bus, the trip was very comfortable, and the guide at Kumumichi did a great job with the tips and explanations. 👍 I booked a tour that only visited the three most famous places because I wanted to look around at a leisurely pace. Since there is a lot of walking, it was great to be able to rest comfortably during the bus rides!! I think I made the right decision booking this! (The deer really enjoyed the grass you gave them at the deer park; thank you so much! 🤗👍) Thank you so much for recommending great restaurants on the way to Osaka and for helping me make a reservation at a restaurant I specifically requested!! Thanks to you, I had a really delicious dinner. 🫶✨️

Reviews: Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Kifune Shrine + Sanzen-in (Osaka/Kyoto Departure | Optional Hotel Pickup | Small Group with Sagano Romantic Train / Private Charter Available)
Guest User2026-10-08
This Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Kifune Shrine + Sanzen-in was a fantastic experience overall! Special thanks to our driver, Li Jie. He was incredibly friendly, communicated well, and provided clear explanations along the way. Within the limited time, he arranged the entire itinerary perfectly, managing the time flawlessly, allowing us to visit several of Kyoto's most worthwhile attractions in one day. However, I must remind everyone that this tour is more suitable for travelers with some self-reliance. Because you're not with a guide the entire time, you'll need to figure out your own way, keep track of time, and return on time for each meeting. As long as you manage your time well and adhere to the meeting times, the whole trip can be very relaxed. I personally really liked this approach—someone arranges transportation and the general direction, and once you arrive at the attractions, you have your own time to explore freely. If it's your first time in Kyoto and you want to visit Arashiyama, Kifune Shrine, and Sanzen-in all at once, I would recommend this Day Tour. Especially driver Li Jie, he was a huge plus! 👍🇯🇵
