Reviews: Krakow to Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ghetto Visit
Guest User2026-10-17
The trip lasted approximately 9 hours. It started at 11:30 AM. First, there was a two-hour walking tour of the Krakow Ghetto. This was followed by a 30-minute lunch break at leisure. Afterwards, there was a two-hour bus transfer to Auschwitz. The time allotted for visiting the concentration camp is relatively short considering the size of the site, and it's advisable to explore it quickly on your own. There are no guided tours. At 6:30 PM, we returned to Krakow by bus. Overall, it was a very interesting and informative trip.

The tour was well detailed by the guide. Unfortunately, you don't see the actual factory, but a museum was created on the site where it once stood. The details are very interesting, tied to the history of the city and the nation, but also offer a different perspective than the story we all believe to be completely realistic, as told in the film. It's worth walking there from the city center, a comfortable 35-minute stroll and crossing the Vistula River.

Reviews: Krakow: Schindler's Factory & Jewish Ghetto Guided Tour
Guest User2026-10-04
The tour was exceptional. Our guide Alice was the best. She was very knowledgeable and insightful, taking us back in time to experience everything more fully both in the Factory and the Ghetto tours. I would highly recommend doing both. While you can do the tours on your own, you will miss so much. This guided tour brought out the experience that you won’t get just from reading the placards or looking at the pictures. I am very glad I purchased the guided tour.
