This was a very informative tour. Ben was incredibly engaging and extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much about Hungarian Jewish history and culture as well as Jewish persecution through out history. I highly recommend this tour.

Reviews: Half-day tour of Fisherman's Bastion + Matthias Church + Castle District in Budapest, Hungary|Guided tour
Guest User2026-10-03
Not bad, but you'll spend a fair amount of time just standing and listening to the guide. She tells the story from the very beginning of the people's migration. Her English is good and understandable, but overall, it sounds rote and rather boring.

Reviews: Budapest: Dohány Synagogue & Jewish Museum w/Prio Entry
Guest User2026-10-24
The tour itself was great. Flavia, our guide, was incredible. She was able to explain things so we’d understand. From the church hall to the cemetery to the memorial, she really painted a great picture for us to understand. This was the first place we visited in Budapest, and the tour really set a high standard of what to expect on other adventures.

Reviews: Budapest: Jewish History Guided Walking Tour
Guest User2026-07-05
Andrea, our guide, was passionate and knowledgeable. The 2.5 hours flew by. We really enjoyed learning about the history of both the city weaved into the history of the Jewish residents and vice versa. It was really interesting to see how things have changed over time. The coffee stop offered a welcome relief and the “flödnis” cake was delicious! I highly recommend this tour.
