Reviews: Beijing Royal Banquet · Ancient Chinese Immersive Imperial Feast (Luxury royal experience + Traditional Chinese ethnic dance performance + Royal banquet + Immersive time-travel experience)
Guest User2026-09-27
I had previously booked only the banquet and no costume, but the team reached out and asked me a day before if I would like to opt for the dress up and Boy! I was glad that I did. For reference, I am 164 cm tall and weigh 80 kg, and they had so many options in my size. So if you are unsure about the sizing, be worry free. They have got it. Moreover, I had requested a vegetarian/ vegan meal, and the team assured me that the option was available. They served me multiple courses of vegetarian food, and I was spoilt for choices. Now, coming to shows and performances, this was hands down one of my most amazing experiences in China. The music, live singing, dancing, and performances were so rich and varied. If i come to china again, I would love to experience this show all over again. If I had to recommend one thing, that would be that they provide an add-on photoshoot service. That would be such an amazing addition to the package.

Reviews: Beijing Yongle imperial feast - 70 min performance with 14 exquisite dishes, a royal banquet of the Ming dynasty

The performance was fantastic, with a strong cast, great music, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I recommend sitting in the front row. You can also get a free photo with the actors at the end. I'll definitely come again.

Reviews: Beijing | Yuxiandou·huangjiacai Museum - immersive noble court dining show - Hanfu performance
Guest User2026-10-01
An incredibly cool place! Everything was top-notch. I went with a friend. We arrived, were greeted with a special welcome, and given tickets. It turned out we were seated in different seats. We asked to be seated next to each other—they initially refused, but then changed their mind and resolved the issue. Afterward, they dressed us and did our makeup in about 20 minutes. The girl did everything quickly and efficiently, taking into account our makeup preferences. Anything we didn't like was corrected. Before dinner, there was a performance in the foyer: theater and dancing. In the restaurant itself, they seated us, explained the menu, and asked if we had any allergies or anything like that. Overall, the service was good. We were seated in the fourth row and had a good view, although the presentation of the food was different from that of the guests in the front row, which is why we paid less. I don't like the taste of Chinese food, but surprisingly, I ate everything except two dishes. The food was delicious. Professional performance: dancing, singing, storytelling, opera, circus.
