It is an isolated example of the palace-style ancient architectural complex among Chinese imperial mausoleums and temples. It is an important manifestation of ancestral culture and a specimen for the study of creation culture and Yixue culture. On the first and fifteenth day of every lunar month, especially between February 2 and March 3 of the lunar calendar, millions of people from all over the world flock here to search for their roots and pay homage to their ancestors. Located in the northeast corner of Taiqing Palace Town, 5 kilometers east of Luyi County, Zhoukou City, it is the birthplace of Laozi and also a temple dedicated to Laozi. In 1997, archaeological experts excavated a large cultural relic group in Taiqing Palace, including Longshan culture sites, Western Zhou tombs, Eastern Zhou rammed earth foundations and large horse pits, Tang and Song architectural foundations, inscriptions and Ming and Qing architecture. The site is early in age, large in span, well preserved, rich in cultural connotations, and has high value. The main attractions include Jiubujing, Taiji Hall, Sanshengmu Hall, Wangyuejing, and Sun and Moon Pool. Taiji Hall: A mixed building constructed with building materials from different periods of Han, Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. The Sanshengmu Hall in the harem: There are constant fireworks all year round, and it is very prosperous. It is said that during its heyday, when Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty proclaimed herself emperor, it was named Tianhou Hall. Moon-Watching Well: On the 15th day of the eighth lunar month every year, when the wind is clear and the moon is full, the bright moon in the sky is projected in the center of the well, which corresponds to the ancient poem "The moon in the sky is the moon in the water". Another unique feature of this well is that when ancient coins are thrown into the well, the coins will make a sound similar to the croaking of frogs at the moment of falling into the water, so people throw coins to listen to the frogs for fun when they have nothing to do. When later generations cleaned this well, they dug out many rusty ancient coins. But today's coins don't make any sound. Sun and Moon Pond: Enter Taiqing Palace and walk a short distance along the sacred road, you can see the Sun and Moon Pond. Legend has it that when Laozi was born and became an immortal, the sky was full of rosy clouds, and the sun and the moon appeared at the same time. Even more coincidentally, on September 24, 2006, at the foundation laying ceremony of the Taiji Hall donated by Feiyan Cave to Laozi's hometown, the wonders of the sun and the moon shining together and the three clouds gathering appeared again. Tang and Song Dynasty Stele: There is a Song Dynasty stele: more than 3 meters high, with only a small part of it exposed above the ground. Going back, you can see another Tang Dynasty stele, which is almost entirely underground. The preface was written by the emperor of the Tang Dynasty, and the front of the stele is in the official script of the Tao Te Ching. Although it is severely eroded by wind and rain, it still has the charm of the Tang Dynasty stele and has extremely high artistic value. Yuan Dynasty stele: This imperial edict stele is carved from bluestone, and the inscription is in regular script of the Yuan Dynasty: "The order orders envoys, soldiers and horses not to stay in the palace, and all trees planted by people are not allowed to be cut down."Luyi · 6.4 km from downtown

Laojuntai, located northeast of Luyi County, was built to commemorate Lao-Tzu. The structure has been constructed in a classical, large brick style with a raised, altar-like format involving concentric circles akin to a rounded column with corners over a larger lower base. Legend has it that Lao-Tzu ascended to the heavenly realms after attaining mastery and that he ascended from this place. Accordingly, it's called Shengxiantai (or the Platform of Immortal Ascending). A total of 32 steps constructed out of blue stone lead down from the hill gate, with another layer of steps added directly in front of the temple, totaling 33 steps. This is appropriate given the legend of Lao-Tzu ascending all the levels of the Qing Tian (or Azure Sky). The site has attracted visitors since ancient times, whether to offer worship or simply see the sights. Over the years, the place has inspired innumerable poems.Luyi · 989m from downtown

Nuwa City is located in Sidugang Village, Niedui Town, 7.5 kilometers north of Xihua County, Henan Province. The city site is square, divided into inner and outer layers. The outer city wall is 4,000 meters long, and the inner city wall is 1,440 meters long. The outline of the moat is clear, the width of the base is 6 meters, and the width of the upper part is 15 meters. The city walls are mostly rammed in layers, each layer is 10 to 20 cm thick. The rammed socket is round, flat-bottomed, and 5 cm in diameter. There is a palace-style rammed earth platform in the city. An underground drainage pipe was unearthed under the northern city wall, with a residual length of 1 meter and a diameter of 29 cm. A large number of relics from the Spring and Autumn Period, such as kettles, pots, li, urns, and tiles, were unearthed in the city, which shows that the city was magnificent and the residents were prosperous at that time. According to research, the city is the site of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and the ancient cultural sites of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties or even earlier are pressed under the city wall. In 1994, the construction of the new Nuwa City was started at the ancient mausoleum of Nuwa near the ruins of Nuwa City. Nuwa City has archaic buildings such as the Archway Gate, Nuwa Mausoleum, Butian Palace, Wa Palace, Fuxi Palace, Sanhuang Palace, Sanqing Palace and corridors on both sides. The halls and corridors enshrine statues of Nuwa and Fuxi, as well as sculptures and murals depicting Nuwa's achievements in creating man and mending the sky. In front of the ancient mausoleum of Nuwa, there is smoke and incense all year round. Now Nuwa City has become a large-scale Nuwa worship and sightseeing place with influence in the whole country.Xihua · 12 km from downtown

The environment inside is excellent, and there's even a unique garden called Duxiu Garden. The restrooms are also very clean. Offering incense at Taihao Mausoleum is free, which is better than many other tourist attractions, some of which charge exorbitant prices for incense.

I forgot to bring my teacher's ID, so I couldn't enjoy the discount and bought a full-price ticket. It was very convenient to enter the park by swiping your ID card. The scenic spot was very good, but it was a pity that the statue of the treacherous minister in the Yue Fei Temple was removed and it was not built.

Good food, fun and good scenery. I recommend Daji Congee House. The special snacks are fragrant and nourishing. The stir-fried dishes and the multi-grain buns are all delicious. It is especially suitable for families to satisfy the taste of the whole family. Go to burn incense on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month. The incense at Laojuntai Taishang Laojun and Taiqing Palace Niangniang Temple is very effective! It is a place with great cultural heritage. Wearing Hanfu, you can see the scenery everywhere! Finally, go to Wohe Wetland Park at sunset to check in and take a picture of the sunset over the long river! Have a small barbecue by the river! Perfect! Not expensive! ! !

Huaiyang's Longhu Scenic Area is worth a visit. It's the largest inland lake surrounding a city in China, covering an area of 11 square kilometers. It boasts unique natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage. Here's a detailed introduction: Beautiful natural scenery: Longhu Lake boasts clear, rippling waters and densely lush cattails. In summer, the vast lotus ponds, covering thousands of acres, are in full bloom, creating a spectacular sight of "lotus leaves reaching the sky, endless green." Boat trips are available among the blossoms and leaves, allowing visitors to soak in the sweet fragrance and capture stunning photos. Longhu Lake is rich in cultural heritage, with numerous historical and cultural sites surrounding it, including Taihao Mausoleum, the mausoleum of Fuxi, known as the "First Mausoleum in the World"; and Xian Ge Terrace, where Confucius was trapped in Chen Cai during his travels. Built in his memory, the simple and elegant architecture offers a tranquil place to immerse yourself in Confucian culture. Abundant entertainment: During the day, guests can enjoy lotus viewing by boat on Longhu Lake, while at night, they can enjoy night cruises. At the Taihao Mausoleum Pier, visitors can experience the ultimate romance of light, shadow, and water, along with a 3D water curtain show and the live performance "Dreaming of Wanqiu." Distinctive Cuisine: Huaiyang cuisine is renowned for its freshness, with the Longhu Fish Banquet being a standout. Dishes like the pan-fried and braised fish and carp soup are particularly tender and rich in flavor. Other dishes include Huaiyang roast chicken, with its crispy skin and tender meat, and the dry, fragrant, and crispy compressed steamed buns, all worth trying.

The Ye Family Manor was also a chance encounter. There is a relatively large square in front of the manor, and parking is convenient around it. By the way, there are pig trotter shops all around the square, so you can eat nearby. We arrived in the morning and had lunch at the pig trotter shop at noon. The taste was good, and many locals also ate here. The Ye Family Manor was originally quite large, with three manors, but only one remains. You must ask a tour guide to introduce it. The price is not expensive and it is more interesting than seeing it by yourself. Of course, the whole garden is really not big, so it is not necessary to make a special trip to see it. You can take a look if you pass by.
