Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park
Guest User2026-09-23
The entire itinerary was well-planned, with each segment lasting about an hour, making it very comfortable. The vehicle was in good condition, and the driver/guide were excellent service personnel—polite, courteous, and of high quality. Even at the end of the tour, they never asked for a positive review. Todai-ji Temple in Nara was truly breathtaking; its all-wood structure, unpainted, exudes a strong sense of historical gravitas and is well worth a visit. Fushimi Inari Shrine was just average. Time was a bit tight at the final attractions, such as Gion, but given it was a day trip, it's impossible to see everything. It would have been perfect if the driver/guide had provided brief introductions to each attraction beforehand.★

Reviews: Kyoto's ancient charm: A day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nara to feed the deer, with optional small group tours including hotel pick-up and drop-off.

It was Friday, October 26/23, with Guide Oh Seok-bong's team. I had seen him mentioned quite a bit in reviews... and as expected, he made the whole trip fun and enjoyable with his cheerful wit and sense of humor. Fortunately, we had a weather fairy with bright sunshine, so the photos turned out beautifully. I followed his tips for each place—"Don't eat this" and "Make sure to stay far from this"—and wow, every choice was top-notch! If anyone is planning an Osaka-Kyoto trip, I definitely want to recommend this tour.★

Reviews: A day trip of Culture Experience to Kyoto's ancient architecture, Nara Park with adorable deer, and Fushimi Inari Shrine.

We took our kids to Japan for summer vacation. There were so many places we wanted to visit, but transportation was a hassle, and without a guide, we didn't understand anything. We'd never done a day trip with a tour group before, so we decided to give it a try, and it was truly a five-star experience! This package was really good and affordable (I never expected it to be so cheap and so good). The guide, a Chinese resident with permanent residency in Japan, was incredibly welcoming. The bus was comfortable the whole way, and he shared a lot about the local customs and culture he'd experienced in Japan over the years. We were very grateful to our guide, Wu Shifeng, who was excellent and professional, with no hidden costs! The day trip to Kyoto's classic sights was perfectly paced! Highly recommended! Everyone should check it off their list!★

Reviews: 1-day in-depth Kyoto tour: Kinkaku-ji + Fushimi Inari Taisha + Ninenzaka/Sannenzaka - explore thousand-year-old temples

I was worried that traveling alone might be a bit awkward, but above all, I really appreciated how considerate the guide, Sai, was and how he tried to teach me as much as possible. I highly recommend Sai as your guide, even if you are traveling alone.★

It was quite difficult due to the rainy weather, but you took such good care of everyone and were very kind to us. Thank you, Guide Sai Toshiko. Thanks to your kind guidance, I had a wonderful time touring rainy Kyoto and am returning to Korea. If I ever travel to Japan again, I would love to see you again!★

Reviews: Cultural pilgrimage in Kyoto: Kinkaku-ji + Fushimi Inari Taisha, a 1-day tour of ancient charm
Guest User2026-09-02
It was my first time visiting Kyoto. However, my friend and I were the only Koreans on the tour. The Korean-speaking guide, Mr. Sai, was incredibly cheerful and kind!! He explained the tourist attractions and Japanese culture in advance and even taught us some simple Japanese. Although the weather was extremely hot, he made every effort to guide us as best as he could. He also took so many photos for us 😭 I was so grateful. If I visit Osaka again, I plan to sign up for this tour again! Even after the tour, he introduced us to great restaurants and tourist spots in Osaka and treated us kindly until the very end.
