Reviews: Amsterdam Food & Canal Tour: Tastings & Vintage Boat Cruise
Guest User2026-08-16
This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam! Having one guide for the whole experience made it feel really personal, and our guide was fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the city. We loved exploring the Jordaan and discovering amazing local food along the way: aged Gouda, herring and crispy kibbeling, bitterballen, traditional apple pie in a brown café, warm poffertjes, Indonesian-Dutch saté, and a delicious briwat/roti roll with chicken. Everything was delicious and gave us a wonderful taste of Amsterdam’s diverse food culture. Trying jenever was also a fun and very Dutch experience! The private canal cruise was the perfect ending. Cruising through Amsterdam while enjoying bitterballen and jenever was such a memorable moment. We loved the combination of food, history, local culture, and the canals. Our guide made the whole afternoon relaxed, fun, and genuinely special. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterd

We had a fantastic tour and enjoyed every minute of it. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both informative and entertaining. What we especially appreciated was how well the guide adapted to our interests and took the time to answer all our questions. The explanations were clear, engaging, and full of interesting details we would never have discovered on our own. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an informative and enjoyable experience. Thank you for a great tour!

Reviews: Amsterdam, Netherlands: Zaanse Schans Windmill Village and Giethoorn day tour with free boat transfer
Guest User2026-10-06
The day trip was very convenient. Our guide, Mr. Yu, was very experienced, provided detailed explanations, and was an excellent driver and boater. The 9-seater van was quite spacious, and the group lunch was delicious. We went on a boat trip to Giethoorn in the morning to avoid the afternoon crowds. The ice cream at the cheese shop in Windmill Village was incredibly delicious.

Reviews: From Amsterdam: Giethoorn 1-day tour (includes 1-hour round-trip cruise)

We were supposed to depart at 10 am, but because we didn't get a proper headcount, we didn't leave until after 11 am. Driving is better, but since it was a solo trip and saved us the hassle, the price was still acceptable. It was several tens of yuan cheaper than buying tickets directly at the station, and the scenery was beautiful.

Reviews: Exploring the Dutch countryside: Zaanse Schans windmill village + Edam + Volendam + Marken from Amsterdam
Guest User2026-08-15
If you are travelling solo it's a great chance to see the countryside for such cheap price. It was convenient to go to the places, although there are too many people all at once and you need to wait for everyone and etc. But I guess that's common for such trips. I got to see the countryside so I am happy but that was not that informative.
