An informative walking tour of the old town with a charming lady, Ines, who was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Reviews: Cabo de Gata: Natural Park Kayaking and Snorkel Excursion
Guest User2026-10-05
It was a great experience, challenging but not overly so. The tour we took was scenic. The snorkeling was mostly a stop, but it was nice nonetheless. We were satisfied! The guide was very good, spoke easy English, and explained the area's features well (as well as paddling instructions).

Reviews: Palo Verde Boat Tours, Ortega
Guest User2025-12-08
This was our second time booking through Palo Verde Boat tours. I can not say enough good things about this tour and the family who runs it. They feel like family at this point. We were back in Costa Rica this time around to get married and they made us feel so special by having a little set up for when we returned from the boat tour. The drive to the location was beautiful and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the roads were! We brought my in laws and my sister for the early birding tour and we saw so much including monkeys, crocs, jabirus, a scarlet macaw and so much more! When we returned from the tour we had some dragonfruit ice cream and juice which was as always delicious! I plan to come back to do this tour everytime I am in CR. Highly highly recommend!

Reviews: San Jose: Cacao & Chocolate Workshop
Guest User2026-10-03
During our vacation in San José, we attended this chocolate workshop and were thrilled! The owner and instructor has an incredible amount of expertise and knows how to convey it in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. You get hands-on experience and make your own chocolate bars. Every step is explained, and you can taste and sample the results to appreciate the differences. Even critical questions, such as those about the pricing of chocolate in supermarkets, were answered knowledgeably and clearly. Best of all: at the end, you get to take your handmade chocolate bars home with you. A fantastic, educational, and above all, delicious experience!
