We went on the 14th of October. Due to the extreme weather that day, we expected our bus transport to be cancelled and the Acropolis to be closed. The bus ran as normal and off we went. It was dry in Lindos when we arrived so we went straight to the Acropolis, then it started raining immediately. We were scanned through anyway and started exploring. It is really worth a visit and we are glad we went as we were not able to rearrange for a different day due to our holiday dates. After almost an hour, staff blew whistles and came round asking people to leave as they were closing down due to the dangerous weather alerts. Fair enough, we thought and better for staff safety as well.

The bus was punctual, and our guide spoke good German and was very informative. Unfortunately, the range of the earbuds wasn't always reliable.

Definitely worth booking as it takes all the hassle out of the journey over to lindos. The driver was really prompt and picked us up on time both on arrival and departure. 4 hours was the perfect time to go see the acropolis, have lunch and do some souvenir shopping.
