Reviews: Barcelona: Discover Gaudi Architectural Guided Tour
Guest User2026-10-13
Wonderful, so informative explaining not only the external appearance, but also the clever structural design. What was also I tetesti g was the influence of wealth, politics, competition and religion on designs. What a wonderful guide, I just wish I could remember her name, but spoke three and a half languages!

Vincent was a great guide for the day! We only had one full day in Barcelona so we opted to schedule a private day tour. It was an excellent choice. He knew where to take us for a fantastic view and provide a rich overview of the city in a conversation format rather than a rote “guide’s” lecture. He knows the city well including great driving skills. Then, it was off to a walking visit of incredible sites mixed with great conversation and historical interest. We walked the Gothic district and stopped for treats. We drove to the neighborhood of Sagrada Família - walking the area, getting lunch and then a visit on our own to the Cathedral. Vincent didn’t need to visit with us. He picked the perfect time for our visit as we watched the sunlight through the incredible stain-glass windows turn the cathedral into a magical organic other-worldly experience - “sunset in Muir Woods” that needed no words. We finished our wonderful day at Park Quell - another Gaudi creation and an opportunity to people-watch, experience Gaudi’s brillant design, and reflect on a prefect day!

Reviews: Barcelona: Complete Gaudí Tour, Sagrada Familia & Park Güell
Guest User2026-11-01
Pros: excellent, knowledgable, English speaking tour guide who was able to tell us so much more about the sights than we could ever have learnt ourselves. The quick tour covers the Casa Batllo (extensive), Pedrera (superficial - from the outside, you don't go in), and the Sagrada Familia. Cons: I don't recommend the 4pm tour as our time at the Sagrada (the last stop) felt rushed because they start asking people to leave at around 7pm. You have to queue to go through security which took a while. There is a museum which we raced through and there was perhaps 10 mins to look around at the end on our own. It was dark by the time we got there (October) so we didn't see the stain glass windows properly. Also, if you have any mobility/health issues, this is a walking tour. There was a fair amount of walking and stairs. Lifts are available at nearly every location but there were some older members of our group that found the walking hard going.
