Reviews: 1-day tour to Hill of the Buddha + Jozankei + Lake Tōya + Showa-shinzan + Noboribetsu Jigokudani Valley in Hokkaido
Guest User2026-10-15
The morning rain didn't affect the trip; the driver's driving skills were very steady, and the tour guide explained each part of the itinerary in detail. The whole trip was fantastic! Although the wind and rain were heavy, it didn't affect the indoor worship at the Great Buddha Head. The Great Buddha Head had just undergone a purification ritual and was very impressive. There are many small restaurants around Lake Toya, so lunch is conveniently at your own expense. The autumn leaves at Jozankei Futami Park are beautiful, and a walk around Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is very relaxing. A wonderful day trip. I loved it!

Reviews: Fire & Water Hokkaido: Noboribetsu Hell Valley, Lake Toya & Shikotsu Day Tour
Guest User2026-10-18
This was my first time in Hokkaido, so I signed up for this tour. I was confused trying to find the person in charge of registration at the meeting place, but I found out by asking someone at the hotel. Mr. Hayashi led the tour! He was excellent. He explained information about the places we visited in Japanese, English, and Chinese, adapting to the group's needs. It was a little disappointing that the time spent at each tourist spot was short, but that's understandable given the distances we traveled. Considering the cost of lunch and the ropeway, I think it was a good deal, and it was great to be able to visit famous tourist spots in one day.

Reviews: Jigokudani Valley & Lake Toya Tour: from Sapporo or Noboribetsu
Guest User2026-10-14
I was so lucky with this tour! The weather was overcast and rainy at the start of the day, but as if by magic, by the time we arrived at Noboribetsu Jigokudani, the rain had completely stopped. This allowed us to fully appreciate the volcanic landscape. The valley itself is breathtaking, and Lake Toya is simply magnificent on a sunny day! Cape Chikyu is also very beautiful, with stunning views. A special thank you to the tour guide: not only did he explain everything beautifully, but he also took some great photos against the backdrop of the scenery. The organization was top-notch: the tour was conducted in three languages (English, Chinese, and Japanese), and everything ran on time, without any delays. I highly recommend it!

Reviews: Hokkaido Noboribetsu & Lake Toya, Cape Chikyu & Lake Shikotsu Day Tour

A truly perfect autumn trip to Hokkaido! ☺️ Our tour leader, Lisa, was meticulous and responsible, introducing us to Hokkaido's local customs, scenery, and cuisine along the way, making the bus ride anything but boring. She even proactively took photos for us at scenic spots – such thoughtful and attentive service! I would definitely recommend joining a tour group next time I come in winter.
