We took a trip with Mr Liao, from Yangshuo to Longji and back, with a party of 5 people. He was punctual and easy to communicate with, using a translator app. His driving was good and he was so valuable in helping us book attraction tickets, bringing us quickly through crowds and skipping queues sometimes. He also explained places to us and took us for some extra sight seeing on the way home.

It took almost two hours to reach the Longji Rice Terraces. The scenery was stunning, with golden terraces cascading down in layers – definitely worth a visit. However, I didn't understand why the tour guide said there was a 100 RMB entrance fee per person to Ping'an Village, which wasn't mentioned when we bought the ticket.

We had a wonderful day with a very friendly and attentive driver/guide! Absolutely fantastic, we highly recommend it. Plus, the scenery is magnificent; you have to see it with your own eyes, not just in photos.
