It was cloudy all day, but our driver, Erling, and guide, Amandine, made three stops in hopes of catching the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, the clouds were just too thick, and I think most of us had given up and fallen asleep on the way back. Then, all of a sudden, the shuttle stopped, and Amandine hurried us off the bus. They had managed to spot the Northern Lights on our way back! We really appreciate Erling and Amandine’s determination and effort to make sure we didn’t miss out on this incredible experience. Highly recommend this tour!

Advantages: 1) The tour guide and driver are good at taking photos. 2) The staff are very friendly throughout the trip. 3) There is ample time for taking photos at each attraction. 4) Photos are uploaded and provided on the same day. Disadvantages: 1) Most of the time is spent on the bus, with little to no commentary. It's a typical day trip where you sleep on the bus and take photos when you get off. 2) The bus is a minibus, and even one smoker makes it very smelly. Although there are two buses, there's no separation between smoking and non-smoking passengers, and I was very uncomfortable with the smell throughout the trip. Not recommended for people sensitive to smoke. Simple lunch: a small cup of instant noodles.

The weather wasn't very good, but the kind guide did his best. He is an excellent guide, driver, and top-notch photographer. The scenery in Senya was beautiful, and the rough waves captivated me. The market we stopped at on the way was also large and nice.

Lovely trip with beautiful views, we had an excellent and sweet guide. For my personal preference the stops were bit too short- approximately 10-15 minutes each, sometimes 5 minutes. I would love to explore the viewpoints bit more, enjoy the views, photograph. So 20-30 minute stops would feel much more relaxed and wouldn't add too much time. But besides that I really enjoyed our time on Senja. PS! the warm waffels on the ferry were one of the best I had the entire trip.
