We set off under the stars at dawn. After sunrise, the misty forest gradually dissipated, revealing Lonely Planet. Semeru slowly emerged as a mushroom cloud in the distance. Our guide, Kiki, was exceptionally responsible and excellent, proactively offering his services. He helped carry all our bags when he saw us taking photos, even bringing his own geography textbook! His photography skills were top-notch, and he knew all the popular photo spots like the back of his hand. The driver was great; he drove the jeep all the way to the railing, so we barely walked to and from the observation deck. The wait at the coffee shop wasn't long, and being indoors for a while kept us warm. We managed our time well, arriving back at the airport at 2 PM just in time to check in for our 3:30 PM flight. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

The price was very reasonable, and the reminders were very detailed. They even provided a list of what to bring, which made things very convenient. Although setting off at dawn was tiring, the scenery was truly breathtaking, and we even saw the sunrise โ€“ it was totally worth it! The guide also helped take many beautiful photos, making it a very enjoyable trip.

This was one of the best experiences Iโ€™ve had. The agency was incredibly helpful and communicated clearly about any exceptions. They were friendly and went above and beyond to make it memorable. They even helped with photography and suggested the best spots. They didnโ€™t push for tips or other fees and they even rent jackets on-site. Iโ€™d definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

It was much more convenient than going on my own. The whole trip was tiring. They picked us up from our hotel near the airport at 11:30 PM, took a bus to the foot of the mountain, then transferred to jeeps to go up. We arrived at a coffee shop on the mountain around 2:30 AM to wait for the sunrise. We started climbing at 4:30 AM, and the sunrise was around 6:00 AM โ€“ a truly breathtaking sight! Seeing the volcano, the sunrise, and the crater made the whole day worthwhile. A word of caution: the road conditions were poor, and the ride was extremely bumpy. It's advisable to take motion sickness medication beforehand. The jeep bounced me around like a spoon, and I bumped my head on the roof! ๐Ÿ˜‚ The guides and drivers were all very nice, and most importantly, it was a convenient and hassle-free trip. Afterwards, we went to the Wainam Wharf. My butt was killing me from sitting in the car all day, haha!
