Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park
Guest User2026-09-23
The entire itinerary was well-planned, with each segment lasting about an hour, making it very comfortable. The vehicle was in good condition, and the driver/guide were excellent service personnel—polite, courteous, and of high quality. Even at the end of the tour, they never asked for a positive review. Todai-ji Temple in Nara was truly breathtaking; its all-wood structure, unpainted, exudes a strong sense of historical gravitas and is well worth a visit. Fushimi Inari Shrine was just average. Time was a bit tight at the final attractions, such as Gion, but given it was a day trip, it's impossible to see everything. It would have been perfect if the driver/guide had provided brief introductions to each attraction beforehand.

Reviews: Kyoto's ancient charm: A day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nara to feed the deer, with optional small group tours including hotel pick-up and drop-off.

It was Friday, October 26/23, with Guide Oh Seok-bong's team. I had seen him mentioned quite a bit in reviews... and as expected, he made the whole trip fun and enjoyable with his cheerful wit and sense of humor. Fortunately, we had a weather fairy with bright sunshine, so the photos turned out beautifully. I followed his tips for each place—"Don't eat this" and "Make sure to stay far from this"—and wow, every choice was top-notch! If anyone is planning an Osaka-Kyoto trip, I definitely want to recommend this tour.

Reviews: A day trip of Culture Experience to Kyoto's ancient architecture, Nara Park with adorable deer, and Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Despite the rainy weather, I was able to truly enjoy the last day of my trip with my colleagues. In particular, it was an even more meaningful and informative time because Guide MIKA explained the history, culture, and hidden stories of every place we visited in detail with her extensive knowledge. I would like to thank Guide MIKA for her attentive guidance, which ensured we could travel comfortably and enjoyably despite the bad weather. It was wonderful to cap off the end of our trip with such great memories. I would like to recommend this to anyone traveling to Osaka. Guide MIKA, thank you for creating such wonderful memories! 😊

Reviews: Kyoto, Japan: Urban area private charter 1-day tour - Itinerary and attractions adjustable - Inquire for surrounding itinerary customize

Our driver, Mr. Zhang, was an exceptionally warm and handsome young man. His service was incredibly attentive and considerate. He made our group of four older tourists enjoy ourselves without getting tired. The udon noodle shop, afternoon tea stall, and pastry and pancake stall he recommended were all run by a husband-and-wife team. We ate comfortably and happily. Thank you so much, Mr. Zhang, for your care! I highly recommend this tour: when in Kyoto, you absolutely must take a private car hire. It's so much better than squeezing onto the subway.

It was quite difficult due to the rainy weather, but you took such good care of everyone and were very kind to us. Thank you, Guide Sai Toshiko. Thanks to your kind guidance, I had a wonderful time touring rainy Kyoto and am returning to Korea. If I ever travel to Japan again, I would love to see you again!

I had the itinerary with Guide Oh Seok-bong, and he was such a kind and cheerful person. Since he is fluent in both Chinese and Korean, everything was very convenient.
