Tomoko is a fantastic guide. She met us punctually at the agreed meeting point with a sign, clearly printed with our names. We needed to purchase train tickets to Takayama but found it confusing, she immediately volunteered to help us. She’s very friendly and we can tell right away she genuinely likes people and love being a guide. She took us to all the sights as agreed and though the weather was hot, she was constantly thoughtful to ensure we walked in the shade and she also brought us ice cold hydrating drinks in her backpack. She’s very knowledgeable and taught us much about Nagoya, Japanese culture and even introduced all the specialty foods to us. We are so grateful for the wonderful day we spent with Tomoko. We travel all over the world and can say she’s one the best guides we’ve ever had. Domo arigato gozaimasu Tomoko.

Reviews: Nagoya departure: Ghibli park 1-day tour (includes standard walking pass)
Guest User2026-09-21
This is simply wonderful. I'm a fan of Studio Ghibli. I adore their anime. The park is great, there's a lot to see and do. The gift shop is big. You just need a lot of money. I'll go again.

Reviews: Shirakawa-go & Hida Takayama 1-Day Tour | UNESCO Heritage Village & Shirakawa-go Observation Deck
Guest User2026-10-12
The meeting point was easy to find, and everyone departed on time. I was surprised to find people from different countries on the bus. The tour guide was excellent and very meticulous, providing commentary in Chinese, Japanese, and English throughout the trip. The driver drove smoothly, and everything went according to schedule. The bus was clean, making the trip very worthwhile. I also found a delicious Hida beef restaurant near Nakabashi; definitely worth trying if you're planning a trip there. I originally intended to go on my own, but looking back, I'm so glad I booked this bus – it was great value for money.

Reviews: 1-person group guaranteed departure: Kokeizan Eihoji Temple, Japan + Korankei gorge + Shikizakura 1-day tour | Nagoya round-trip
Guest User2025-11-23
The itinerary first took us to Mount Kogei and Eihoji Temple, then to Kawami Shiki Sakura Village, and finally to Korankei. The scenery at each spot was captivating. We had ample time to visit Eihoji Temple and Korankei, except for the Shiki Sakura, where we only had half an hour, which felt a bit insufficient. More time would have been better for climbing the mountain to take photos.
