Our tour guide was very attentive, always ensuring everyone was comfortable throughout the Kyoto–Amanohashidate trip. He was knowledgeable, sharing interesting insights about the Tango Sea Train and Amanohashidate along the way. His professionalism made the entire journey smooth, well organised, and truly enjoyable.

I recently participated in a day trip to the Igeon Boat House at Amphitheater. Our tour guide, Choi Hae-hwa, was incredibly dedicated, providing detailed explanations and introductions in both Chinese and Korean throughout the trip. She was a rare find and deserves a five-star rating.

Reviews: Amanohashidate scenic views + Chionji Temple prayers + feeding seagulls at Ine Bay 1-day tour, Kyoto slow travel

Jay was great tour guide as he was funny and friendly. Do note there’s no muslim friendly option for lunch, so bring your own food! Itinerary wise would be better if there’s longer time for ine fishing village. Free bicycle to rent available at the village but not very friendly for short kings and queens. Overall, still a gd experience

Ms. Yang enthusiastically introduced the route and the history of the scenic spots along the way. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, we also learned a lot. It was truly a worthwhile trip. I hope to meet such an excellent and professional guide again next time. Thumbs up and thank you!

Reviews: Kyoto Amanohashidate + Ine Funaya 1-Day Tour: Optional Amanohashidate Chairlift and Monorail + Ine Bay Cruise
Guest User2026-05-17
I originally planned to explore Amanohashidate on my own, taking my time to enjoy the scenery, but considering my husband's recent back and leg problems, we opted for a day tour instead. We boarded in Kyoto, and the tour guide contacted us beforehand via WeChat with the license plate number and phone number. The agreed-upon time was also very punctual. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, providing explanations of the sights along the way. Since there were many Koreans on the bus, she spoke a lot of Korean. The scenery was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. It would have been quite inconvenient to travel to these places on my own, so choosing a day tour with an enthusiastic guide was a great option. I recommend it to everyone!

In a word, it was great! Thank you so much, Guide Jo Jun-young, for making my first trip to Japan so happy. Everyone thinks of hot springs when they think of Japan, but I wanted to see something different, so I searched online and booked this tour because the floating houses were unfamiliar to me. Honestly, this was my second time hiring a guide. However, I realized while traveling that the guide really is important. Since it was my first time traveling abroad, I was inexperienced in many ways and had countless questions—I was truly a typical middle-aged Korean mom. But after meeting Guide Jo Jun-young, I genuinely felt that I wanted to come back on this trip again. No need for long words; Guide Jo Jun-young truly made the trip comfortable. I will save up hard and come back to tour with you again. Thank you so, so much for teaching me how to travel comfortably and enjoyably. By the way, my mother and son are also very grateful—because of your explanations tailored to their level and your kindness. Thank you so much. *bows*
