Athens City Tour – Acropolis & Plaka 🇬🇷 We really enjoyed this excursion from our cruise! The pace was great, relaxed and never felt rushed, with a lovely mix of sightseeing and free time. We watched the Changing of the Guard, visited the incredible Acropolis prior to that had some free time to explore Plaka, where we stopped for a lovely lunch. A little word of warning about the Acropolis – it’s high, VERY high! 😅 If you're not keen on heights, just be mindful of this. I did struggle a little, but the views across Athens are absolutely spectacular and well worth seeing. Athens itself is an extremely busy city, and although I'm glad we've experienced it, I know it's not somewhere I'd choose for a holiday. It's just not my sort of destination. For us, visiting Athens as a day trip from our cruise was absolutely perfect. We got to experience the history, sights and atmosphere without spending too long in the hustle and bustle. A fantastic way to see Athens, and I'm so glad we did it

We had Athena as our guide and she made the day incredibly fun! She is very knowledgeable and a great story teller. Definitely a must do if you are only in Athens for a day!

We had an amazing day around Athens with our amazing guide, Yianis Pappas! We started off at the Acropolis, followed by coffee and an incredible tour around Athens. Yianis is very knowledgeable about Athens and an amazing driver. We were in great hands!! Book this tour and request Yianis Pappas !
