Our trip to the Avatar Mountains was easily the highlight of our time in China, and a huge part of that is thanks to our amazing guide Lei Qun.
The park is massive, constantly busy. Our guide met us right at our hotel, handled all the ticketing logistics, and used fast-track knowledge to bypass the worst of the crowds at the Bailong Elevator and Tianzi Mountain Cableway.
Beyond the smooth navigation, they were super knowledgeable about the quartz-sandstone pillars andlocal Tujia culture.★

The guide, James, was very attentive and made sure everyone understood him and was engaged in the tour. He explained everything about the mountains and the route, and recommended good places to eat. We were a little unlucky with the weather, but the views were beautiful, especially from the lift and the chairlift. Unforgettable.★

We had such a wonderful time on this tour with your guide Cathy. This is a perfect, fast paced tour for those that have limited time and want to fit in as much as possible. Visiting the Avatar Mountains was breathtaking, walking on the glass bridge and zip lining down was so much fun and finally having dinner at Furong town was simply magical. This private tour ensured we were comfortable with a great driver and guide. Thank you!★

We arrived at Tianmen Mountain today but it was so foggy that we missed many of the beautiful views. I highly recommend checking the weather forecast before you go. However, I must give a huge thumbs up to our tour guide who led our day trip to Tianmen Mountain! The entire itinerary was perfectly planned, saving us the trouble of researching, buying tickets, and waiting in long lines. He explained the route up the mountain, the best viewing spots, and how to avoid common tourist traps. He even planned out the best photo opportunities and recommended restaurants. There were absolutely no forced purchases, making for a very relaxing and enjoyable day. Choosing him for your Zhangjiajie trip is definitely a safe bet!
