This was day tour - I’ll tell you three things about it: 1) It was fulfilling, 2) exhausting in the best of ways, 3) you will not get your fill of seeing so much of China’s history in this one day event, but it sure as hell tries! The tour guide, Cheryl is knowledgeable throughout the entire tour and will keep your mind engaged with fun facts - she even brought me breakfast(!!) due to a conflict of morning schedules with the hotel. The lunch spot will slap your taste buds awake, but only if you’re not a chicken and willing to dip the beef in the chilli powder. Book this event, get your steps (19,113) and snapshots in, and when you’re dropped off back at your hotel you’ll be absolutely content and glad you made this choice.

Our guide was Mr. Gary. We booked the panda and Leshan Giant Buddha tour. I thought it was a bit pricey, but since we avoided the summer holiday period, it was a private tour just for my wife and me, which actually made it feel quite reasonable. The car was a luxury minivan, which made the ride very comfortable. We also had a lot of flexibility with the schedule, which was a great help. It was an English tour, but the guide adjusted the pace to ours, so we could understand almost everything. My wife got tired and started walking slowly at one point, but the guide adjusted the pace for her. We were able to enjoy the tour without any problems.

Excellent tour. Very knowledgeable guide. We saw pandas, listened to interesting stories from the guide, and saw the Big Buddha. We really enjoyed everything.

Generally speaking, large group tours really put guides to the test, and today's guides, Yang and Lu, all passed the test, haha. The overall itinerary was well-planned, the hike wasn't particularly tiring, and the weather was great—it didn't rain during the climb. The boat and hike groups were separated, each led by a guide; our hiking group had two guides accompanying us, one in front and one behind. From lunchtime onwards, we ate according to the assigned seating. We chatted happily with some friends from Xi'an at our table, and we continued to exchange ideas during the hike. Lunch was quite good; we even got to try the braised beef (apparently, it's not available every day, so we were lucky!). The dishes weren't greasy overall, and it was quite delicious for a group meal. Near the end of the trip, the guides recommended some Chengdu delicacies, haha, which was really thoughtful, bringing a wonderful end to our Chengdu trip. Sichuan is wonderful; I'll definitely come back next time.

It was an unforgettable adventure with guide Mark! We formed a very friendly, fun group of travelers. I'll never forget the jokes about "2 meters," "Nemo," and "everyone's lost." 🤣 It was truly amazing! Time flew by. The pandas were incredibly cute—we managed to see almost all of them, and the weather was perfect. The Buddha statue is impressive—it's definitely a must-see. Lunch at an authentic restaurant was amazing! Our guide explained each location in detail, explaining all the special features, and answered all our questions. It was a truly amazing trip—I definitely recommend it to everyone! ❤️

We had a great time. Driver was punctual and friendly. Small group, we were 6. We stop to had lunch in a nice place for good price. Luxury vehicle. Our English tour guide Lee was very friendly and professional, he was local and had a lot of knowledge. He speak really good English. The boat tour was nice, the view of the Giant Budha was beautiful.
