The journey starts from Reykjavik city, driving on the famous Route 1, heading east along the idyllic southern coastline. This combination tour gives you the chance to experience Iceland's rugged south coast, known for its diverse landscape. Including waterfalls, glaciers and black sand beaches. After a short stop in the town of Vík, the next stop is the famous black sand beach of Reynisfjara. We will walk to a glacier where you can see the effects of global warming on the ice. Over the past decade, the glacier has retreated hundreds of meters, leaving behind a glacial lagoon. If conditions permit, your guide will take you up close and personal and you'll be able to touch this impressive but receding glacier. The last stop is Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. This will be a great photo opportunity. You can walk behind the waterfall to take pictures. If you walk along the path behind the waterfall and look through the water curtain, it is recommended to wear a raincoat and non-slip shoes.After visiting the coast's highlights, relax at Iceland's popular Sky Lagoon. Sky Lagoon is a new geothermal spa in southwestern Iceland, located in an industrial area about 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) south of the city center Reykjavík. Compared to the Blue Lagoon, it is closer to the city and less crowded. An immersive crossover between the swimming pool and spa creates the effect of an infinity pool on a small cliff overlooking the bay.
