We had Su Did as a driver. He was very forthcoming - accommodated to change of plans for our wish of some hiking 🏞️ and told us a lot of info about life in China. Resulting in a very nice trip.

"Today I took a day tour of the Longji Rice Terraces, Huangluo Yao Village (Changfa Village), and Jinkeng Dazhai. Our driver, Xiao Zhang, was fantastic! He was friendly, punctual, and proactively explained the scenery and safety precautions along the way, making our trip very comfortable and enjoyable. The itinerary was excellent, and the timing was perfect; we didn't feel rushed at all. I highly recommend this driver! I'll definitely use him again next time I'm in Guilin. 5-star rating! 👍"

The cruise was excellent! Of all the ones I found, this one had photos of the suggested meals by type. We took a taxi to Monpashan Pier for 40 yuan, got a ticket using a QR code, and then went into the building where you board the boat for a while. The tour guide explained everything in English; the main thing is to follow the crowd. The only thing is that, after leaving at 10:30, lunch was served at 12:30, and the view with the 20 yuan bill was already at 1:00 PM. They made some announcement, everyone dropped their food, and rushed to the upper deck, as it turned out, to take a photo of the bill against the backdrop of the landscape... Otherwise, it's an amazing 4-hour excursion for 3,550 rubles!!!

Visiting the Longji Rice Terraces with Mr. Chen's small group tour this Mid-Autumn Festival was truly a fantastic experience! Mr. Chen provided detailed and patient explanations throughout the trip, vividly and interestingly recounting the stories of the terraces and the local customs and culture. His service was impeccable, always considerate of everyone's needs. The entire itinerary was relaxed yet fulfilling, allowing us to have a wonderful time without any worries. Meeting such a reliable guide and encountering such beautiful scenery on this Mid-Autumn Festival was incredibly worthwhile! I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Longji; Mr. Chen is the perfect choice!
