We had a great experience with our chauffeur cum guide, Wang Hong. He was hospitable, friendly and sincere. We felt secure with his driving, and we were given sufficient time to explore the places on our own. The 4 places were worth going to, and we were impressed with the architecture of the buildings and walls. Learnt much of ancient history through our experience of actually seeing these places. Also thankful to Wang Hong for introducing us to delicious local food fare beyond touristy areas, when we requested. It was an awesome journey!

I highly recommend this tour! The locations are incredibly beautiful, I absolutely loved the Hanging Temple, I'm so pleased with myself for climbing the volcano, and I'm so glad I got to admire the Wooden Pagoda and other locations without the crowds! Special thanks to the tour organizer and driver, who helped me throughout and even climbed the volcano with me!

This is a hired car service. Not guide service. Driver contacted us at 2pm one day prior to arrange pickup and broad itinerary. Clear and responsive communications in English. Punctual in pickup. Driver kept us on schedule for our train ride. Day (830am to 330pm) was relaxed, covering Hanging Temple (945am to 1pm, no climbing, had lunch) and Yingxian Pavilion (30min photo stop). We wanted to climb Hanging Temple and Driver advised that we need to leave at 5am to join the Q for morning climbs - we decided against that and still enjoyed the site on a chilly drizzling Sep morning. When we arrived at Hanging Temple, we saw on the ticket sales noticeboards that all morning climb tickets were sold out and afternoon climb tickets were available. Recommend car hire for flexibility in itinerary and luggage handling. Driver shares that it is possible to didi back and forth (Ancient City, Hanging Temple, Train Station) but would be stressed on time.
