The cruise from Flåm reaches Gudvagen in 2 hours and 20 minutes. If you are taking the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour route, you can take a bus directly to Voss. Of course, staying here for a night is also a good option.Aurland · 15 km from Flam

Voringsfossen

Voringsfossen

Voringsfossen is located in Måbødalen valley on the edge of the Hardangervidda plateau. The waterfall has a total drop of approx. 182 m, with 145 m being a vertical free fall. The water plunges from the edge of the plateau into the deep canyon, with mist and roaring sounds echoing through the valley. Several viewing platforms and trails have been built at the top of the waterfall. One of them is a staircase bridge that spans the canyon above the waterfall, offering a panoramic view of the main waterfall and the deep valley. The viewing platform on the side of Fossli Hotel also offers a wide view. If you want a different perspective, you can also follow the old road in Måbødalen down to the valley floor to look up at the water cascading from the cliff top. This old road, which opened in the early 20th century, is still open for walking or cycling. Along the route, there are still thousands of stone steps built at the end of the 18th century to cross the plateau. The section where the waterfall is located belongs to the Hardangervidda route of the Norwegian Scenic Routes.Voringsfoss · 48.9 km from Flam

Munch

Munch is one of the must-visit attractions in Oslo. The museum houses a vast collection of Edvard Munch's paintings, sketches, letters, notes, photos, and other precious materials, offering you a comprehensive understanding of Munch's life. Interestingly, the reason Munch has been able to preserve and display so many of Munch's works and historical materials is that he was not a best-selling artist during his lifetime. As a result, many of his works remained unpublished until his death. Munch had a habit of keeping his works with him during his lifetime, and upon his death in 1944, he bequeathed all the works in his possession to the city of Oslo. The museum was established in 1963 and moved to its current seaside location in 2021. The museum houses three versions of "The Scream" — oil painting, sketch, and print — which are rotated for display due to the light sensitivity and fragility of the paper-based works, with at least one version usually on view. Masterpieces such as "Madonna," "The Sick Child," and "Puberty" are also part of the collection, and the combinations of works in different galleries are regularly changed, offering new arrangements with each visit. For large-scale works, don't miss the two-story gallery showcasing monumental pieces like "The Sun." The upper floors also feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the fjord and the opera house, perfect for a rest or photo opportunity.Norway · Oslo

The pier of Gudvangen is a very famous sea pier town in Norway. The scenery here is really charming. Not only is the sea calm, like a mirror, the sky is also very blue, and the various houses built on the mountain are colorful, which is really beautiful from a distance. It is definitely a place with a very harmonious ecological environment.

The Munch Museum is most famous for its three paintings, including "The Shout." They are truly the museum's treasures. Only one painting is exhibited approximately every half hour. The view from the windows is also absolutely stunning, making it well worth a visit.
