The trip was amazing! Nan'ao Island was incredibly beautiful, and everything was seamless — nothing felt rushed, so we could enjoy the experience at our own pace. Having 华司导 (Hua Sidao) with us made it all the better. Not only was her driving smooth, she was also bright and friendly. As Chaoshan people from overseas, we wanted to experience what life is like in the motherland, and she helped us learn so much. My mum especially felt at home through their conversations together. She was a wonderful communication partner — my Mandarin is weak, but her Teochew was clear and easy to follow, so we never struggled to connect. If we ever return with family, we'd love to have her guide us again.

Everyone was exceptionally kind, attentive, and kept us safe and comfortable throughout. Harry was an outstanding guide who explained every sight and activity with genuine passion and care. The highlight was how they celebrated our son's 8th birthday. We had casually mentioned it during onboarding, and the crew remembered—surprising him with a cake and a lovely celebration that our family will never forget. While the ship feels slightly dated, it was spotless, completely odor-free, and very well-maintained. We also appreciated that optional paid activities and drinks were clearly explained with zero pressure or upselling. If you are looking for a Ha Long Bay cruise, I wholeheartedly recommend Arcady Cruise!

The crew members were warm and kind, providing detailed explanations of the sights. Snacks, drinks, and fruit were promptly distributed, and they even helped organize life jackets and other items on each island. The boat was nice, the seats were spacious, and the floor was made of non-slip foam, so you could walk barefoot without slipping. The water slides were a bit short, so if you wanted to try them, you had to queue up several times. Lunch was delicious, but be aware that the restaurant was very busy and had time limits for dining. The restaurant was clean, and the restrooms were also very hygienic. Overall, a very enjoyable trip!
