Our food tour with Mena was a highlight of our time in Mexico City. She was super energetic and enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge of local food culture and vendors. We ate far too much incredible food at some out of the way places we would never had ventured or found on our own. When she says show up hungry she really means it! I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in the history of meso-American food (which was plant-based) or just interested in eating great street food in the city, whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or not!

So many stops to choose from in such a short time, but one of them was the Monument to the Revolution. What a memorable experience!

The tour was very dynamic. We were able to visit many rooms in the museum and had time to spend at the Castle. Our guide, Eleazar, had extensive historical knowledge and told us about Mexico from its pre-Hispanic beginnings up to the 19th century. It was very enriching for those of us visiting from abroad to learn more about this beautiful country's history and politics.
