The guide is very knowledgeable on the history and was able to tell us in an interesting manner. The itinerary was well planned and well paced although the highlights are only the Hanging Temple and the Yingxian Wooden pagoda. Overall quite a good tour. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Absolute Recommendation. Both the Xuanxong Temple and the Wooden Pagoda are absolute highlights of any China trip. The driver was extremely helpful to get tickets for the Hanging Temple.

The team was incredible and tailored the day to accommodate us. We wanted to enter the Hanging Temples so, Mr. Gong, our driver, collected us at 5:50 a.m.. He guided us to the ticket lines (there were already a lot of people in line) and helped us purchase our tickets. After that, he explained to us where to go. Both the Hanging Temples and seeing the valley from the top of Hengshan were well worth it. This itinerary saves time as the Hengshan cable car and hike are part of the same tourist area as the Hanging Temples, connected by shuttles .We chose to return to Datong afterwards instead of going to the temples. We were very happy with our day and would recommend this tour to other travellers. Thank you again, Mr. Gong.

After booking, the service provider quickly contacted us to confirm the itinerary. We booked a 7-seater vehicle, and they provided a Buick 7-seater minivan, which was very comfortable and clean. Driver Mr. Du was very enthusiastic and attentive, dropping us off at the closest possible points with minimal walking distances – very thoughtful and considerate. Highly recommended!
