Host Introduction
Hello , I'm ChenJie, the host of eatwith in Beijing. Because of my love for food, I often try to recreate dishes I see on social media or in food shows at home, and I really enjoy the process. I always have a special fondness for local cuisine, and I hope that when you travel to Beijing, you can treat me as a friend. I'll take you to eat home-style dishes and chat with you about the local lifestyle and eating habits.

Experience Introduction
When you come to a foreign country or city, I hope you will treat me as a friend of yours. I hope to treat you like a friend and talk to you about our local food culture and customs, which are experiences you can't have while sightseeing.

There's an old saying in northern China: "Dumplings before departure, noodles upon arrival." This means that when family members travel far from home, they must eat dumplings. As a traditional food, dumplings represent the Chinese people's wish for their families' safety and well-being. They also resemble ingots, so eating dumplings also reflects the local people's aspiration for a prosperous life.
We bought fresh vegetables at the local market, made dumplings together at home, and chatted like friends. I hope you had a worthwhile trip to Beijing.
