Reviews: Mekong Delta Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City with Lunch and Luxury Limousine Options
Guest User2026-10-22
The Mekong Delta is quite a distance from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, about an hour and a half drive. While not particularly bustling, the Mekong River boasts unique scenery and several small islands. A guided tour takes you to these islands to explore the Mekong's distinctive features. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was a small boat ride through the narrow waterways of the Mekong, experiencing the unique lifestyle of the Vietnamese floating villages. Once on the island, you can choose from various activities. We enjoyed local Vietnamese folk music and singing, and sampled local drinks. Lunch was also quite good, very characteristic of Vietnamese cuisine. What I appreciate most is the tour group's meticulous planning. From the initial patient arrangements and reminders of important points to the guide's efficient and well-organized schedule, the entire day's itinerary was comfortable and organized. Although the journey was long, the tour wasn't tiring at all; instead, it left me feeling refreshed.

The guides were excellent. We got to try 12 different foods from various street vendors. We got to see some of the parts of the city that we would not have. And being on the back of the bike was really fun they were all great drivers
