The tour was great. Although we were the only ones who didn't speak Chinese, the guide was very attentive and sent us information via WeChat. The only downside was that during the visit to Jiuli, the guide was a local and we didn't understand anything, which made it a bit tedious since we had to follow her lead.

For just over $200, the itinerary was incredibly worthwhile. The tour even included a shuttle bus to pick us up from the hotel and take us to the designated meeting point. We played from 6:40 AM to past 8 PM, and a simple lunch was also provided. It was truly amazing and I would recommend it to my friends.

Due to a terrible group tour experience last year, I'm hesitant to join any. This time, I stumbled upon a day tour on Ctrip and booked it. It turned out to be a delightful surprise! Our guide and driver, Mr. Fang, were incredibly enthusiastic, and the itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with everyone considering the needs of the tourists. During the journey, they explained the history and cultural background of the tourist attractions and constantly reminded us to avoid tourist traps. There was no shopping or forced spending throughout the trip; it was essentially a free and easy trip, but we didn't have to worry about transportation or entrance fees, saving us time and hassle. We were extremely satisfied and look forward to our next trip.

I took a private tour, but first of all, the travel agency made a few mistakes. When entering Mt. Fairy, they said the entrance tickets weren't booked, and when dropping me off at the hotel, they dropped me off at a different hotel, presumably because the information wasn't properly conveyed to the driver.

I selected the private tour itinerary for 6 people, and the schedule followed exactly as planned. However, the driver drove recklessly, as if he were the only one in the car. I don't usually get carsick, but I experienced severe motion sickness for the first time and almost threw up in the car. The description claimed it was VIP service, but the driving was terrible; it was completely different. Therefore, I recommend skipping lunch. You will throw up the moment you get in the car after eating. I recommend skipping lunch and proceeding with the tour as a single trip. Once inside, the scenery is truly amazing. Although you have to walk a lot and climb stairs, the natural landscape is magnificent enough to make up for everything, and you will think, "I am glad I came." I was satisfied except for the driver. For reference, you can separately schedule the pick-up and drop-off locations for the private tour.
