Balagezong is a highly recommended stop on any Yunnan trip. It's not overly commercialized, and the overall tourist experience is excellent. From the 1700-year-old Bala Village and the Echo Wall to the Shangri-La Grand Canyon, everything is breathtaking. Balagezong is a place that offers more memorable experiences than just sightseeing, and it's definitely worth a visit.

They are very professional and flexible, you can discuss and customise how, where and when you would like to spend your day. It truly met what we really wanted - quality over quantity. Highly recommended.💯 The service was smooth and easy. We were picked up from out front hotel at Shangri-La. We took a private tour of 3 people. Went to Balagezong up until the peak. Then stay overnight opposite Meili Snow Mountain. We are lucky we are able to catch the gold sunrise from Meili Snow Mountain. Mr. Stone our driver and guide - is very helpful, providing us information about culture, history and facts. Appreciate it so much. If you are going to Shangri-La please spend time to go to Balagezong and Meili Snow Mountain. Worth every penny. 😊
