An incredible experience, definitely worth a try. The show is truly unmissable! Excellent organization. Unlike other attractions, you don't need a passport to enter; you need a QR code, which you receive via WeChat/Whatsapp a few days before.

The show was visually spectacular. However, the choice of preformance was a bit random - opera, ballet and some singing. But to me its a must watch- just for the vastness of it and also that it is performed entirely on the lake.

The itinerary was great. Our guide was Junjun, and the car was a Buick minivan. Compared to the Mid-Autumn Festival, the trip was quite relaxed. The guide and driver were both very nice, and the schedule was well-planned. We went to Xixi Wetland in the morning and tea picking in the afternoon. The weather was quite hot, so the elderly and children didn't want to hike. It would have been more fun if the weather were a bit colder. We had lunch at Yintai and also checked out a large Mixue Ice Cream store, which we don't have in our area. We departed at 9 am and arrived at the hotel around 5:30 pm, which was quite good and suitable for a relaxed family trip.
