I initially went to other branches before finally arriving at this original location. The advantage was that it was less crowded and relatively quiet. The staff were all very nice and attentive. The food was good, although the selection wasn't huge, but I did get to try afternoon tea and dinner. The massage was also excellent. I would definitely come again.★

Gulangyu is a must visit when going to Xiamen. Brown, our guide, was fantastic with a lot of knowledge of Xiamen and China. One downside of the tour is that due to the holiday we could not start at the originally scheduled time because ferry tickets were sold out. We were able to complete the majority or the tour given the shorter duration. My advice is to spend more time on the island getting lost in the old town, looking at the incredible architecture as the buildings and history is impressive and interesting.★
