I came here specifically to give a good review. Kudos to our tour guide Nick! His explanations were engaging and not boring at all, and he was very responsible and attentive. There was a minor mishap along the way, but Nick was there to help. The itinerary timing was perfect, although it was a holiday in Japan, so it was quite crowded. Overall, I was very satisfied. Finally, the Katsuoji Temple postcards are absolutely gorgeous! (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)★

The tour guide was fantastic, and the itinerary was very chill. It was much easier and more convenient than taking public transportation to Katsuo-ji and Kiyomizu-dera on my own. The drive from Namba to Katsuo-ji took about 40 minutes, and there was plenty of time to explore the temple grounds for 1.5 hours. Then we drove to Kiyomizu-dera, where we could rest and sleep on the bus and take lots of photos after getting off.★

It was great for traveling to the outskirts away from Osaka. I was a bit worried about having an English guide, but it was fine. Even though I don't speak English very well, the guide understood and explained things clearly and simply. They were kind and the whole process was smooth. However, the bus driving was a bit of a letdown. I understand they were going fast to meet the schedule, but they drove too aggressively on the curves, causing the ride to shake a lot. It was a bit tiring, and there was even a moment when I felt like the car was charging at me, which really startled me. Also, the seating space is a bit cramped. Your knees might hurt! The guide, however, was truly the best!!★

A little fast paced but it hits the mark . If you get Charlie; you will get an entertaining history lesson in the bus. He is rather jovial. And is genuinely concerned about the well being of everyone .★

It was a pretty good day trip overall. The main reason I wanted to visit the Kobe outlet mall was to do some shopping. The staff coordinating the day trip were very efficient and clear in their communication during the initial contact phase.
I didn't have high expectations for Katsuo-ji Temple, but it was actually quite amazing and unique. The sunshine was also great that day, making for beautiful photos. The time allotted for Arima Onsen was a bit awkward; the time for soaking in the hot springs was too limited, so I skipped it. Buying some souvenirs at the nearby shops was still worthwhile. Kobe Harbor is quite spacious, but the sun was strong, and the harbor was very sunny. Overall, it was a good trip and I would recommend it.★

This trip was arranged by Lion Travel. Our tour leader, Kelly, provided very detailed information, and the driver was very steady and safe on the mountain roads. Highly recommended! 👍 The itinerary was also very well-planned; there was no feeling of rushing, just a very relaxed pace. The timing was perfect, highly recommended.
