Day 1: Chengdu - Shuangqiao Valley in Siguniang Mountain - Bipenggou
6:30 AM pickup from hotels within Chengdu's Third Ring Road; depart for Maobiliang Viewing Platform, approximately 200 km (about 3.5 hours drive); [Maobiliang, elevation approx. 3,500m, visit duration approx. 30 mins] - enjoy panoramic views of Haizigou Valley in front and the Four Sisters Mountain range behind, offering breathtaking scenery; drive to Siguniangshan Town for lunch, then proceed to Shuangqiao Valley attraction (approx. 10 km, 20 mins drive); [Shuangqiao Valley in Siguniangshan, avg. elevation 3,500m, visit duration 3 hrs, admission ticket approx. $11/person + $10/person for sightseeing bus] - featuring snow-capped peaks, pastures, grasslands, and dense forests with steep terrain, showcasing the most picturesque valley of Siguniangshan. Day 2: Bipenggou - Heishui
After breakfast, head to Bipenggou, approximately 5 km away with a 10-minute drive. [Bipenggou, with an average altitude of about 3,000 meters, offers around 4 hours of exploration time. Admission ticket is 80 RMB per person, and the sightseeing bus costs 60 RMB per person.] It is a renowned destination in China for viewing autumn foliage, featuring a large-scale pristine ecological scenic area that combines original landscape exhibitions, mountain trekking, polar expeditions, skiing, ice skating, and leisure vacations. The attraction boasts a variety of maple leaves and azaleas, pristine forests, cascading waterfalls, and unique glaciers. Bipenggou is famous for its stunning natural scenery, perfect ecological views, and excellent environment. Around 14:30, proceed to Heishui Hotel for check-in, covering about 180 km with a 3-hour and 30-minute drive. Check-in at Heishui Hotel.
Day 3: Heishui - Dagu Glacier - Chengdu
After breakfast, head to Dagu Glacier. [Dagu Glacier, elevation 2,300–4,860 meters, recommended visit time: about 5 hours; admission ticket: 120 RMB/person, sightseeing bus: 70 RMB/person, cable car: 180 RMB/person] This rare modern mountain glacier is another premium attraction developed in Aba Prefecture after Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, shining like a brilliant pearl in the Da Jiuzhai International Tourism Zone of Sichuan, China. The summit of Dagu Snow Mountain is perpetually snow-capped, with majestic peaks rising in stunning layers that glitter magnificently under sunlight. The northern and southern slopes feature modern mountain glaciers 60–200 meters thick, including three particularly spectacular sections—Glaciers No. 1, 2, and 3—covering about 8.25 square kilometers and formed over hundreds of millions of years, serving as the soul of the entire scenic area. The glacier area boasts excellent environmental conservation and a diverse landscape, combining modern glaciers with waterfalls, lakes, primeval forests, vast rhododendron groves, and scattered alpine meadows. Wildlife sightings are frequent (especially golden snub-nosed monkeys), often delighting visitors with unexpected encounters. Return to Chengdu around 13:30, covering approximately 300 km in about 6 hours, concluding the trip upon arrival in downtown Chengdu.
