Itinerary
Step into one of the most extraordinary and heavily guarded borders on Earth — the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Located between South and North Korea, the DMZ is far more than a military line on a map. It is a living symbol of division, resilience, and the hope for peace.

▶ Option 1: DMZ Tour + Optional North Korea Human Rights Exhibition (Tues/Wed/Fri)
(*Limited visit Only 20 people available)

This is not just a DMZ tour — it’s an experience that goes beyond the DMZ.

After completing the standard DMZ route, you will have the chance to join an exclusive exhibition visit at the North Korea Human Rights Center (available only on select days).

The immersive exhibition, “Myungju’s Room,” is designed to help visitors understand what daily life is like for ordinary North Koreans. This is not a typical museum display — it features original and real North Korean daily-life items that you can see up close, hear about through expert storytelling, and even touch selected objects. Guided by a professional curator, this experience offers a deeper human perspective behind the political border.

A portion of your booking supports the work of the center, and guests may also choose to donate on-site.

About the North Korea Human Rights Center:
A UN-recognized NGO (ECOSOC Special Consultative Status) and a member of FIDH and the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience (ICSC)

▶Option 2: DMZ Tour with Optional Gamaksan Suspension Bridge (Tue–Sun)

Surrounded by forests and mountain landscapes, the bridge offers breathtaking scenery and unforgettable photo opportunities. The area is also historically meaningful, known for fierce battles involving British troops during the Korean War.

Continue to the DMZ Theater, where you will watch a short but informative video introducing the history and current situation of the Korean Peninsula. Then explore the DMZ Exhibition Hall, which provides deeper background on the war, the armistice, and the ongoing tensions that still shape Korea today.

Next comes the most unforgettable part of the experience: descend into the famous 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, a secret underground passage built by North Korea and later discovered by South Korea. Walking inside this tunnel is a rare and chilling opportunity to witness the reality of Cold War conflict that still impacts modern Korea.

After returning above ground, travel to Dora Observatory, one of the best viewpoints inside the DMZ area. From here, you can look across the border and glimpse North Korean territory, including villages and military zones, while standing inside the world’s most guarded frontier.

Before returning to Seoul, visit Unification Village, a peaceful farming community located close to the border. Here, you can browse locally produced goods and symbolic souvenirs representing peace and reconciliation.
